God is the Beauty, I am the Mystery
Do you know a person who’s life is a beautiful mystery?
I do.
She is a woman who has that sweet smelling savor of a beautiful spirit.
Some of her beauty has came as fruit from the trials of her life.
As she has walked with the Lord, she has had painful separation from some of her family.
Her health has been a fiery trial for years ~ one that continues to worsen with no answers in the medical field.
Yet, she loves the Lord, and walks with Him.
Joy, too, has been given her in life.
Sharing life with the man she loves in marriage.
When she was told there was no physical way for her to have children, she was blessed with a family.
God has been good and faithful. She has seen His work in her life over and over as He carries her though.
He shows Himself strong in the details of her life.
But there are areas it hurts.
The pain of the trial is intense, and a daily struggle of faith under fire.
This poem was inspired by her life:
BEAUTIFUL MYSTERY
Gods’ work in me
Is a beautiful mystery,
I walk in faith,
Knowing His work in me is safe.
I do not know
Where His walk will have me go –
My trust it takes
Beautiful things my life He makes.
Through the vale slow,
Deep waters flow…
Or over the mountains my great joy be;
His glory for me!
My life in Him
This cup is bursting over the brim!
Faith is the victory
In His beautiful mystery.
