There are times in life when you wonder why things happen.

When Faith2me blog was taken down I did wonder why. I did learn the technical reasons that it vanished somewhere out in cyberspace. What was the lesson I needed to learn, through it, though?

For technical reasons, I had updated my contact information for the web host, I even had made handwritten notes of when I did that. But somewhere along the way the computer or host did not see my notes and the changes were not saved.

Sooo…as automations go, with no payment being made to the hosting provider, they shut down the whole website.

When I dug in and discovered what happened, it was too late to just retrieve it. I had to rebuild the whole site.

Time to rebuild

Finding that a daunting task, I really did not want to tackle all that work and the details that go into it.

So I made sure the Lord knew I was OK with letting it go. Life seems to be plenty full enough without building another website.

The Lord, however, made it quite clear that this was to continue. He confirmed it through those of you that kept asking for more blog posts, thank you for showing your support.

He also confirmed to me a couple of times through the Word of God spoken in our fellowship. He has ways of making it clear what work He wants me to do.

I still drug my feet at times as I began to slowly work on the rebuilding – starting from scratch. A few of my old posts were still in my email box and an archive but almost all the pictures were lost.

When I started, I did think once, well I have done it before, and have some experience, it can’t me too hard.

Wrong.

I had to use a completely different theme. It functions in it’s own way.

Another learning curve.

So…a few months later, a whole lot of stumbling around on the computer and I have a blog open again. It needs work, but here it is.

This has definitely been a lesson on due diligence! Being a better steward of what I have to take care of so that I do not lose it.

The Lord has also seen fit to remind me that this is His work for me to do.

Moving Forward

It continues to be my desire to bless your lives as you follow the Lord. I want to share with you the simple lessons the Lord is teaching me.

He so often stretches us and has powerful ways of making it clear to us the lessons in life that make HIM more evident.

So that we would more fully see Jesus and be like Jesus.

Blessings as you walk with HIM.

More coming soon…if I did this blog building thing right!
